COVID-19 Notice:

In light of advice from the Chief Science Officer that small gatherings and small venues present a greater risk of transmission of COVID-19 we have taken the decision to cancel our March open days. This is a decision that we have not taken lightly and as a family will cause us some considerable financial difficulty. However upon reviewing our policies and in light of the fact key members of our staff have health conditions that put them in the high risk groups we do not believe it is possible to effectively sanitise the controllers, trains and figures used by our visitors on the railway after each and every use.

We are aware that sadly this may now mean we do not open to the public again before our closure in April.

Welcome to our Garden Railway

Last Trains and Goodbye

At Easter 2020 our trains will run for the very last time here in Sutton Bonington. We’ve had a wonderful time playing trains however it’s time for us to take a break and spend some time together as a family as we prepare for our next little railway adventure.

"This is great place for kids young and old. They get to control the trains and you can sit and watch with a coffee and a cake from the tea room . They do afternoons teas and hot food . Lots of country walks near by. Would highly recommend."
